I'm an amateur fantasy artist (though at one point, I'd like to venture into science fiction) - and while I'm trying to improve art, I'm also writing a novel. Art is something I've always dreamed of being able to do along with my other goals.

This looks like a neat place to get to know other artists, while attaining helpful advice and critiques to better improve.

Hello everyone, still a small community here, so hopefully we can all get to know each other pretty well. Just as anyone else, I'm an aspiring artist, particularly in the concept area. I love the entertainment industry, that's where my goals lay. I joined for both inspiration and motivation because I can't get things done if I'm the only one making me do stuff. >.<

Welcome! nice to see you made it I would suggest participating in the 'daily piece' forum as much as possible until we start running larger challenges

Also put up your attempts and sketches in a sketchbook thread for yourself
We will help you and comment on your progress often so you can get a clear view of what you need to work on and where you are heading.

Hi everyone!

Another newbie here. I'm not a professional artist (I'm actually a nurse...) but I've been at it with photoshop and my wacom and painting as a hobby for I guess about 2 years now. Sadly, I can't say all that time I was practicing so I know I still have a lot to learn.

Looking forward to the forum art challenges, sometimes I have a hard time trying to come up with ideas to draw. Hopefully this will push me to be more creative and get feedbacks at the same time.
